Our Story

‘From Here On Apparel’ was founded by Calvin de Swardt and officially launched on the 1st of September 2022.

After working in South Africa's printing industry for 11 years, I decided to leave my role as an Industrial Service Engineer to pursue my passion for entrepreneurship and start my own business. 

A clothing brand where I could blend my industry knowledge of digital and textile printing, accompanied by my love for all things Sci-Fi, and combine the two to form ‘From Here On Apparel.’

The name ‘From Here On Apparel’ came to mind after wanting to create a brand that bridges science fiction and current technology trends.

The launch series, The VR (Virtual Reality) Collection, fantasizes about a world where ‘The Metaverse’ has consumed humanity and tells a story of its uprising in parallel to its downfall over a 40-year period.

The brand aims to capture people's imagination on what the future holds for humanity in the form of unique and visually captivating designs using comfortable, high-quality clothing while building up a community of Sci-Fi enthusiasts and fashion lovers alike where all can come together to enjoy science fiction stories and wear great clothing simultaneously.

For now, ‘From Here On Apparel’ is only shipping to customers in South Africa. However, we intend to open up the brand to the international market in 2024.
