Some use it as a means of filling a social emptiness inside them, while others use it strictly for entertainment. While the masses have yet to catch on, those who begin spending their time absorbed by the Metaverse soon find themselves neglecting their real-world lives and all but abandoning everything they knew or cared about in the material world.
